Here are a selection of my most popular tours: These are for touring days of 9 hours - 8.30am to 5.30pm. I can customise these itineraries if necessary, but cannot work miracles - I cannot for example combine two or three days of itineraries into a single day.

For over 15 years I have been running my highly rated two day tour of the American landing beaches and Airborne sector. This tour features an interesting range of sites - both famous and little known in a variety of terrains and locations. The narrative I provide is detailed but also exciting and moving, focussing on the roles of small units and individual combat participants - many of whom I have personally interviewed.
A brand new one day tour looking at the battles to cut off the Cherbourg Peninsula, including the battles of La Laye du Puits, Mont Castre and Hedgerow fighting around Periers.
A one day tour covering the V Corps assault on the vital crossroads town of Saint Lo. The Allies had hoped to seize the town within a few days of June 6th, but a stubborn German defence and logistical issues led to a 6 week campaign of Hedgerow Hell
In early August, Hitler ordered General Von Kluge to attempt a major offensive west to the port of Avranches. The aim was to cut the supply lines Patton's Third Army that was making progress south to Brittany following Operation Cobra in late July
After the Germans failed at Mortain and following the British and Canadian breakout from Caen, the Germans began to fall back to the Seine River. This tour encompasses the August battles in Normandy - an excellent addition to a regular DDay tour. This tour covers the roles of the Canadian, Polish and British forces and of course the German retreat.
A wonderful day tour covering the Canadian beach landings and the push inland towards Carpiquet airport over the next few days. This tour can also be modified to include the role of the Canadian Parachute Battalion. For Canadian travelers the Falaise Gap tour would make an interesting second day of touring.
A single day tour that covers the most important sites in the British Airborne sector together with Sword and Gold Beaches. This itinerary is especially aimed at visitors from the USA, who have perhaps already visited the American landing beaches. The noble and valiant efforts of the British Army in Normandy are under-appreciated by visitors.
A two day tour including an overnight stay in Saint-Nazaire in Brittany. This tour covers the famous Greatest Raid of All from March 1942 where a British destroyer packed with explosives smashed into the dry-dock gate to deny the Germans a port in France large enough to take their battleship the Tirpitz. It also includes visits to the incredible U-Boat pens, a nearby German blockhouse, follows the route of the British Commandos through the old town and visits to both British and German cemeteries. It's even possible to visit a 1960s French submarine.
My 1 or 2 day tour covering sites made famous in the TV show and book. This tour is an excellent choice for visitors perhaps on a second trip to Normandy who want to see the American Airborne sector in more detail.
Personal tours for family members tracing the routes of their relative or for visitors with a particular interest in a specific unit. These tours are custom planned for each client.

Some visitors want to explore all the D-Day landing beaches, the Airborne drop zones and also the inland battlefields where the fighting continued through June, July and August 1944. Essentially I can offer you a tour of whatever you want to see. But the biggest mistake people make when planning a visit is misjudging the size of the battlefield and the sheer variety of sites, museums, cemeteries and memorials there are to visit.
What I won’t do
Let me be upfront about something. I won’t take on any tour that (in my opinion) tries to cover too much ground in one day. If you want to see all 5 beaches, the Bayeux Tapestry and enjoy a relaxed 3 course lunch in a single day, then there is really no point booking with me. I am at the point in my career that I don't need to bother doing touristy and rushed tours that just point out memorials.
