British & Canadian (DUKE) Tour 2026

British and Canadian Itinerary (October)
October 2nd to 7th - arrival day and first evening together - October 1st

We are still tweaking the details, but here are the proposed days. It's not intended to be a comprehensive Battle of Normandy tour, in that we won't be visiting all the D-Day beaches or covering all the inland fighting. Think of it as a Paul and Mag's Favourites tour. We'll cover the areas we love in some detail, offering our guests an on-the-ground experience we don't think is offered elsewhere.

MORE DETAILS TO FOLLOW

Day 1 - Gold Beach and inland. This day will include the landings at Asnelles by units of the 50th Division, the airfoeld and cemetery at Bazenville, Crepon and the Gren Howards, Point 103, Cristot, Fontenay, Rauray, Tilly sur Seulles, Lingevres and Ellon.

Day 2 - Juno Beach and the advance to Carpiquet. The focus of today's route is to explore the push towards Caen and the airport. Bernieres sur mer, Tailleville, Villons les Buisson, Authie Abbaye D’Ardenne, Hill 67 Trotville, Verrieres, Bretteville sur Laize etc.

Day 3 - Sword, Charnwood and Caen. Sword Beach, Hermanville, Hillman, Periers le Dan, Cambes en Pleines, Epron and Caen.

Day 4 - Epsom and Goodwood. Cheux, Manvieu, Maltot, Hill 112, Giberville (RT), Escoville, Troarn and Cagny.

Day 5 - British Airborne, Commandos and the August battles east of Caen. Pegasus Bridge, Ranville, Mont Cansiy battery, Gonneville-en-Auge, Putou-en-Auge etc.
